Forever Falling in Love

Bob & Amy met in 1983 when Bob tossed Amy out of her first airplane. She landed a couple of fields & a barbed wire fence away, with 30 pounds of WWII parachute gear. After they landed & Bob was happily entrenched in the loft, he said, "I saw her get up & she was headed in the right direction." To which, Amy replied on return, "I'm going to marry him for revenge." It was a match made in heaven.

Two weekends later they were married in the basement of the local courthouse. They immediately took a three month road trip around the U.S. while they were still free & broke - camping in a pup tent and exploring over 20 states.

In the ensuing years, they built quite a repertoire of stories. Be sure to browse Kini & Kimi's pages (Bob & Amy's adopted stuffed lizards that travel with them).

Enjoy! And, give us feedback - we'd love to hear from you!

2011 New River Valley Parachute Center Skydiving Reunion

Over 25 years ago our dropzone was located at the New River Valley Airport in Dublin Virginia.
This is where Bob & Amy met. After it closed, friends and jumpers scattered to the winds.
Dennis Grubb decided it was time for us to get back together again for some jumps and fun.
Ahh ... the stories that were told! See what it looked like back in the day.
